Craft Covers & Interiors is owned and operated by Rob Eades. A highly skilled, highly regarded Marine Trimmer for 30 years. Rob completed his apprenticeship in1996, from there, he relocated to London for 7 years and ran his own successful antique upholstery business.

Returning to Auckland in 2003, Rob established a new Cover & Upholstery Department for one of New Zealand’s largest performance sail making company’s. For 16 years Rob led a team of four expert craftspeople, providing exceptional workmanship and service for local and offshore customers, and building a department with a world-class reputation.

Rob’s unwavering dedication, dependability and work ethic have built a foundation of trust across the industry. He is known as a go-to expert for his extensive experience and knowledge of all areas of upholstery and marine trimming. His precision and attention to fine details have built his reputation as an outstanding craftsman.   

Rob launched his new venture in 2019, based on Auckland’s North Shore. Craft Covers & Interiors provide a full service, from concept through to project management to final completion, for the local and offshore market.
